Freiburg, Straßburg, Basel, and the Black Forest.

We were welcomed to Freiburg by a fine Spanish family singing choir. Clouds over the Dreisam, river through Freiburg.

Strassburg.

Crazy clock in the Strassburg Cathedral that tells you everything you'd want to know about the time and the planets and the solar system. First built in 1353.

Oldest standing residence (now restaurant) in Strassburg.

End of Strassburg, one of the prettiest places i've ever visited.

This is the only photo I have from Basel, but it's a good one. This boat
has been a popular means for crossing the Rhein for several generations. It's a family run boat and the family is outrageous. Some of the most colorful people you will meet, you will meet in this boat attached to a string above a river.
Titisee, Black Forest. It seems like the world has discovered America's affinity for snacks.

Carolyne and Eric play on a seesaw in a snowy playground in Schluchsee, Black Forest.
Schluchsee. The coolest thing about Schluchsee: the fresh air. We all smelled it the moment we stepped off the train. One hour in the Black Forest air will add a year to your life.

Woohoo Rothaus Bier!

Ex-roommates reunited on top of Freiburg.
